The Asset Management Department is comprised of the Low-Income Public Housing Program. The Lansing Housing Commission public housing staff is responsible for the day to day operation and asset management of over 800 dwelling units in the City of Lansing.
As a team, we provide service to our customers, the residents of LHC. Our Asset Managers and their site teams have developed the necessary skills to provide customer services to our residents through strong and professional relationships.
Our Asset Managers, Assistant Asset Managers, Office Assistants, Senior Maintenance and Maintenance staff are the onsite team that delivers and sustains service to our residents. Our training and quality control seeks to ensure that residents have the highest level of service in all aspects of the living environment, from ensuring the correct rent, maintenance repairs and grounds care.
Applicants
When the wait list is open, you must apply on LHC’s website for the community where you wish to live. The Lansing Housing Commission does not accept applications at its main Administrative Office.
LHC will conduct a criminal, credit and landlord background screening to determine the family’s suitability. LHC may deny any application that does not meet the eligibility and suitability standards at the time of application.
